If America needs you again, would you be willing to return to active duty one grade lower?

If you read Once an Eagle, you know the hero was up and down in permanent and temporary ranks based on the needs of the military...but you might not know that one of my personal heroes, Gen. Andrew Goodpaster (SACEUR) took a downgrade to 3- star rank to command his beloved West Point. If we had full mobilization or even partial mobilization, what about you?

I think I'd rather work in a state militia capacity. They may not be federally funded, but I don't have to worry about the PC, gender bullshit. Had enough of that crap through the Air Force. That's not to say that I don't love the military, I certainly do. But enough is enough.

If I could come back, they would have to promote me! I couldn't go any lower!

Goodpaster was a general and the reduction in active duty rank did not affect his retired status. And no, I would not return under any circumstances, despite the fact that I enjoyed my service and miss many things about it.

I wouldn't do it under the current administration. We took an oath to protect against ALL enemies foreign and domestic and it is the domestic ones in office right now that concern me the most. Our forefathers were afraid this would happen and warned us about it. The Constitution needs to stand and anyone who tries to it take away wants enslave us. Our country is being ran by a tyrant king who isn't even an American along with the Elitist who are trying to destroy truth and put their plans in place.
