If I am in the OCP ACU, do I wear UCP or OCP name tapes and rank on my green fleece or "puffy coat?"

I've looked everywhere for an actual answer, but all I see is one suggested answer of "UCP tapes." Which wasn't convincing. Thanks in advance!

That is quite a collection, SGT Hector Rojas, AIGA, SHA.
Closest I can get is the four shades of Gortex parkas I have - BDU, DCU, DCU night pattern, and UCP.

The tan is a liner for the multicam A2CUs cold weather gear (flight cold weather gear)

The tapes should match the uniform. If wearing the green fleece, you should wear the UCP tapes.

I complety agree tapes should match outer garment pattern. For the life of me I can't find any reg or memorandum to back me up though.

I am going to call my uniform the AFU, the Army Fighting Uniform. Components will be any mixture of whatever you want. Throw in the black socks and the white T-shirt and we are good. Flip flops will also be an option. I will institute this when I get my second star!

I am going to go with what I have been doing regardless of how silly it looks.
Here in Leavenworth we have the Major's College, and if their doing it I realize that I'm probably in the clear.
I wear my UCP name tapes on my Foliage Green Fleece. Because otherwise it doesn't match and would be a great way to send a CSM into a fit.
But... I honestly never wear my fleece or fleece cap and simply wear my waffle top to avoid any confusion and corrections based off of someone's (to include my own) interpretation.

SGT, this was EXACTLY my plan. I normally wear my Waffle top all through winter and stay just warm enough. My plan was to do that in order to [like you said] avoid the issue all together. The problem I have is that I now find myself having to be outside in well below zero temps. I still wanted to go with just the waffle. But, I am bound to run into multiple 1SG, CSM, a few BC's, and probably the brigade commander. Having them see me with no coat probably wont be good either.
What finally swayed me was the fact that without cold weather gear (coat), I can't with good conscience be seen in a fleece hat. The fleece hat is all I need to combine with my waffle to feel comfortable. So, I am bound to wear my snivel gear, and my fleece hat, but I hate to be the guy that is wrong. Especially when being in the new uniform (while in the guard) is still a rare sight around my area. All those eyes on me, I think I'll do the right thing.
Thanks for your take!

The ACU refers to the uniform style; OCP and UCP refer to which pattern the ACU has

Currently attending ALC in Ft Eustis, VA and the SGL's put out " when wearing the foliage green fleece over OCP (scorpion ACU) you will wear OCP name tapes". Can someone please assist me in locating this information in black and white since its been an issue at my unit as well.
