If I served in several 30-level positions as a SGT, will I have to do that key leader time all over since I didn't do it as an E-6?

I have been an E5 for several years now (6) and I have held several 30 level positions from squad leader all the way up to section sergeant and was rated at the 30 level for each position.. Is this time that I will have to do over since I didn't do it as an E6?

First and foremost it shows that your leadership has faith in your ability and potential. Secondly, it depends of your next duty station or assignment and the availability of slots and positions. As a staff sergeant your duty position and rated slot will be vastly more important as those NCOERs will be evaluated at the Centralized promotion board level. For now, just enjoy the challenge and learn as much as you can, so if in those positions again you can provide a greater impact for those Soldiers you serve.
Not do over, but continue.
