If I've just arrived at Fort Polk, is there any way to quickly change duty stations?

No, you're going to have to do your time at Fort Polk. If you reenlist to leave, you can leave at 2 years on station. If you don't reenlist for it, you can leave at three years, but you will need to reenlist to take the assignment either way. You can drop an airborne school packet and be gone at 1 year on station, but again, you will have to extend your contract to give the Army 3 years of Airborne.
