I probably should have stayed for 2 past Twenty and Kissed more Ass to retire with that Fricking Anchor. I was just not and Ass Kisser. Was not my nature. Still not. Anchor would have kept me so I could continue share my knowledge with those that needed it to make rate. High year-end year sent me to the House. All Good Seabee's need to go home sooner or later.

Would have listened more carefully with my one remaining good ear when they said, "Your leg and hearing may probably recover. We can test it but we'd have to keep you in for another two weeks."

I would have tried to get into SF. As it was I was identified early as a Acquisition Corps Officer and groomed as such since I was a 1LT. I had a number of 05,06, 08 mentors that saw in me the talent to become a successful Program Manager. I am not complaining - just wondering ...

Picked a different field. Maybe realized I had nothing to prove and joined the Air Force instead.

I would have made sure to see a shrink and see if my tourettes diagnosis at age 7 was a mistake. Then I might have gotten further than getting rejected twice.

I was offered the opportunity to go to the prep school in order to go to West Point. I said no because I wanted to get married. Marriage did not last.

I wouldn't have given up on being a PJ. The PAST test kicked my ass. I should have trained harder. But at the end of the day, it was a great 20 years in the world's #1 Air Force. #airpower
