I would have signed up for nuclear or machinist trades and gotten a civilian job in it as soon as I ets'd.

Should have really listen to my inner voice and put my foot down. Work on my education, probably would have retired as a Warrant or Commisioned Officer.

I never would have become an MP. And I probably would have joined the Coast Guard instead of the Army.

Worked harder than I did to stay in... But such is the life of a young sailor in a toxic command...

Took a lot more photos. Fired a couple of NCOs that needed to be fired instead trying to bring them along. Reverse 2 decisions for the sake of the family that cost me career wise and seemingly were not appreciated as time went on. Sought mentors and do what they recommended and be humble enough to take advise from those with experience.

I would have taken up an outlet to relieve stress. I kayak now and wish I had taken it up while in the Army.

I would've re-enlisted, managed my money better and stayed in 20 instead of 4 and out. 20 years seemed like forever at 22, now at 46 it's not all that long
