If you change your pay to once a month…do you still get both les? Like the mid month and end of month?

As a retiree I get paid once a month and only one LES.

I currently get paid once a month and only receive my end of month LES only.

I was to understand before I retired that mid-month LES had been done away with entirely for everybody, and that only end of month LES were distributed anymore. Even if that isn't the case, Soldiers and Airmen that opt for once a month pay only receive an EOM LES.
