Capt Jeff S. - I see a bunch of adventure touring bikes with ammo can bags. It looks like a BMW boxer engine I think.

Not rich enough to mess with Harleys yet, so I have my 12 Busa. I ordered a 360 fat tire kit on a single sided swingarm. I know speed and handling will go down, but I can live with that; I'm trying to slow down. After everything's installed, a custom paint job, odds and ends, and I'm done.

Very nice Warren - I've always liked 'Busas...but I've transitioned to the cruiser world.

LTC (Join to see) - Thanks. This is my third crotch rocket, and will be my last I think. I worked from 600's up to this, and I have to say, this thing WILL kill me since I have no idea how to keep my right hand from twisting more and more backwards, and going faster and faster forwards. So I like the big tire look and have heard that the fastest I "could" go would be 90, and that's great for me. I'll live longer and look better riding down the road. But I AM going to get a Harley or a custom Bagger. I really like them, and a buddy has a custom bagger with a 30in front wheel. Looks wicked sitting still.

Louder pipes
Re-jet
Taller risers
Higher handle bars with more sweep
Cowl with low wind deflector (no shield)
Back rest
New paint
Engine effect lights
Fog machine (
Blackout/rhino line all chrome
Switch to LED (green)
Heated Grips (arthritis is killing me)
Throttle lock

Then again... maybe I just need a new bike

Heated grips are soooo sweet! I had to wear earplugs when I rode my straight pipe Vulcan 1500, but it was fun to set off car alarms and get the dogs barking.

I commute 120 miles a day on a vtx1300. Comfortable ride, but too quiet. Out of that 120 miles perhaps 50 miles is lane splitting. Louder pipes would go along way towards raising that comfort factor and reducing the pucker factor. Especially as you look someone in the eyes through their mirror, they see you and then immediately swerve into you. I would rather they hear me swerve and allow me more time to react.

Cpl (Join to see) - CPO Andy Carrillo, MS, I had heated grips and seat on my Ultra Classic and it came in handy many times here in Montana.
