What I would want to see is that this COVID is over and done with and people are back to the normal life they had before this virus emerged. Imagine the number of lives that would be saved.

i am a 100% total and permanently disabled combat vet. hello to all my comrades. unfortunately jan 16th of 2022 last week, my sister caught a severe covid, when she was taken to the hospital, she acquired a blood clot in her leg, from the covid, which needed to be amputated. her lungs and kidneys failed for 12 days while on a ventilator, and her fight ended. she passed from covid. no underlying health problems what so ever. her problem was she did not get vaccinated, and did not believe this virus was real...what i would like to see in 2022 is more people getting vaccinated, and doing the correct things to stay safe ( mask, washing hands frequently, distance) not only for themselves but for all others.....be safe.................

SGT Augustus Pisano - The wife of our school's athletic coach just passed away three days ago after a short visit to the hospital. She was fully vaccinated and had the boosters, but it got her anyways.

SGT Augustus Pisano - Im sorry to hear about your sister. I had a friend die after getting the final booster shot and another who was fine until his booster shot and is recovering from a severe stroke There are 2 sides to this argument. I'm also a 100% disabled Vietnam combat vet with several health problems and I choose not to get the shots. If you choose to get them, that's your buisness, and that's fine but I and a lot of others choose not to and that's our business

I'd like to see a world where Republicans and Democrats realize that we're all Americans working toward a better place to live and we're not enemies.

Agreed, but believe in a balanced budget, and would like my commander in chief to be a gentleman as he is our main representative, not the finger pointing going on in the world today. the rest of the world thinks were nuts on this side of the pond.

I don't think it's about Dems and Reps at all, it's about freedom vs. tyranny. Choose sides.

Here's the thing. The guiding principle of Democrats is, what is the problem and how do we fix it. Republicans believe ,what is the problem and what's in it for me!

SP5 Paul Grieshaber - Both parties have petulant children looking out for what is best for them. Difference I see is Dems like victims to save and Republicans people to work hard for things. There are far more people that prefer to be a victim and have the government solve their problems than people wanting to work hard to solve their own problems. Like in Russia a hundred years ago and Venezuela today, eventually that government runs out of hard workers paying taxes to take care of the victims and your supply chain goes to shit. People stop working hard because they now get the same as the victims, and you get Russia, China, and North Korea where 99% of the population suffers. I was never raised to support a particular party and as an adult I see far greater problems in blue cities than red cities and in fact, most cities (even in TX) go blue with huge problems.

I want to know I am doing the right thing. I have a really sweet girl that wants to marry me. She might be better off without me lol... I hope I can do right by her.

Get and read books about marriage from your library. Get premarital counseling.
I did not and I have paid for it over 50+ years.

Treat her like you would want a daughter treated by someone. That will never steer you wrong.

I mean, the winning Powerball numbers would be nice to know.
But aside from the obvious money making schemes (lottery, stock market, sports betting, etc.), knowing how and when to keep my family safe would top my list (even above the money). But that is a VERY complex problem, because oftentimes taking action to avoid one hazard merely throws us into the path of a new one.
On a more concrete and less avaricious level, I think just knowing where, when, and how I can best spend my efforts to provide maximum beneficial impact, without sacrificing my relationship with my wife.

Sgt Jim Mullins - Not me! I'm going to be the one! I promise! Millions of dollars wont change me, I swear!
In seriousness, though, those whose lives are destroyed are because they do not have a plan - or they don't stick to it. Those who succeed go about things smartly.
I know the likelihood of me winning is exceptionally low - especially since we rarely play. But my wife and I have discussed, and we *do* have a plan and priorities set. I am pretty sure we would make it to the other side in decent shape. I certainly wouldn't mind the chance to find out!

Pretty certain if you are already focused on the relationship with the wife you are doing well.

Cpl Vic Burk As a License Counselor, I will just say this; I know you meant well but making it about you is dismissive of Brian's crisis. In otherwords, talking about your hardship does not make a person feel better about their tough times. I hope you don't think I am trying to be rude or mean. If so, I am truly sorry.

If I could fast forward a year I would like to know if political divisions that are going currently which is dividing the country get better. I would like to see our government getting back on track with leading the people, respecting their rights, freedoms and liberties plus following the constitution guide lines written by our fore fathers. I would also like to see if the president can actually lead the country and bring us together so that we are all walking in the same direction. Lastly I would like to see if the news organizations actually report the news, by checking sources and staying out of the talk show circus in which they are engaged currently. The news organizations should be reporting news and information to the American population to help us make better every decisions instead of giving us sound bites and commentary from their so called experts which causes confusion.

SGT M Stone I always tell people that I am not a Democrat or a Republican. I am just someone who loves my Country. I too believe that a one dimensional spectrum of political views is “way too oversimplified”. I’m 52 but in EVERY election since I’ve been able to vote I’ve looked at EVERY candidates views & voting history (if they had one) no matter what party they’re in. After my research I decided on who my vote would go to. I’ve voted for Republicans, Democrats & Independents. I don’t care

Seeing the nations of this world accept Christianity as their religion eliminating the need for war and respecting all humans equally. I know its a pipe dream but I can still dream. Its what I want.

SFC Casey O'Mally
Christianity doesn't have too great of a record when it comes to eliminating war.
Not saying you aren't free to dream. But those are probably two separate things. They *can* happen together, but are neither dependent of each other, nor causative.

That the American people have gotten their mind back and returned to Government of the people, by the people and for the people. Only 1% of Americans can rightfully say they have worn the uniform of our military branches.

I would like to know that 2022 made us kind, patient and understanding again. We must remember those that have gone before us and those who will come later deserve much better. It’s so easy to accomplish such a mission.

If I could fast forward a year, what I would want to know about 2022 is that my daughter was born safely and healthy and that my wife was also safe during and after delivery. She will be our rainbow baby after a loss last holiday season so I really want my wife and daughter to be safe, healthy and happy.
