If you could fast forward a year, what would you want to know about 2022?

Will time travel finally be realized and achieved in 2022? If so, it would be great to know in advance so one could compile a list of people and eras in history that shaped this country, then travel back and actually live the experiences, however good, bad and/or ugly.

This scenario then poses the dilemma of whether or not such a time traveler should have the ability to intervene and change events. I.E., How would the world be different had Abraham, Martin and John not been denied their right to life?? What would the atmosphere in this country be like under a different administration??

I would like to know if I can be a home owner, and be content.

Would like to know if my va claim will be approved. I would like to get my family out of this slum that we are renting. We can't afford what it costs to rent something better or buy anything. That's all I'd like to know.

I would want to know if this would be the year Jesus the Christ comes back.

I would like to see the Veterans' Administration facilities completely reopened. For those of us who have been referred out to Civilian Practitioners (Medical, Dental and other), please blanket inform us all as to whether we should continue with this care or was/is it a one-shot deal. Is after care for Dental, Vision, etc. at civilian practitioners a part of the original referral. We, the Veterans, are left in limbo too often in these instances. I would like to know if the VA will be more open about incidents (good and bad) that occur at VA facilities and publish data on what occurred, when it occurred, who was involved, was it criminal, how dangerous was it to patients, visitors, observers, and actual participants. This question is because I (and multiple others) witnessed a very violent confrontation occurring just outside the main entrance of the St. Louis VA Medical Center - John Cochran Division on or about 27 October 2021. As I was walking from the Parking Area Lot outside the main entrance parking area and through the Valet Parking area, I noticed a very tall Valet and another very short person Valet doing extremely rough chest bumps with one another. They were both grinning with gritted teeth, and the short fellow had to jump up to perform. I assumed it was friendly play and continued through the revolving door entrance and turned right for Check-in. Suddenly, as I was waiting my turn to be Covid-19 questioned and monitored for entrance, I looked outside through the very large front windows and saw the two chest bumpers begin to swing fists, bodies and feet violently at one another. Within seconds, multiple other VA Valets joined in the fray, and appeared to be applying physical damage and blows only to the short chest bumper. This went on for over 30+ seconds, and other persons in the inside waiting area were gasping and voicing concerns, such as "Oh, My God", but no one of the multiple VA hires present seemed to know what to do. Normally, there is a VA Security Person in this area, but that day there were none. I am 83 years old and cannot move fast and thought better of my first thought to run help the short chest bumper, but I did revert to my military training and screamed in my loudest voice, "Someone get a Fucking Security Detail up to the main entrance, there is a fight in the parking lot, and someone is going to die!" I waited about 10 more seconds, in the silence that ensued after my yell and then glanced down the long entrance hallway to the West and saw a Security Officer running quite pertly toward the front. He lunged through the doorway and quickly flung a few people out of his way and then grabbed the short chest bumper and secured this person. I don't know how he knew who to place his attention on, but would like to know more about this incident, what actions were taken to be sure such an event does not happen again, and the many people both outside and inside in such situations are more protected. This could have been a multiple and deadly crime scene if someone had drawn a weapon and used it. Were the Valet Personnel counselled, punished, and given additional training on how to respond or not respond to such future occurrences. About this same time period a Patient committed suicide, and this was in the papers, but I find no reference to the incident noted above. I do have severe PTSD among a multitude of other service-connected medical problems and that day has been added to the things I wish I had never seen or experienced. DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER THIS INCIDENT OR CARE TO COMMENT! Sorry for the Rant!

I would like to know if I am going to stick to my "new year" goal(s), it's not a resolution but an effort to change a few of my current lifestyle choices. I'm attempting to modify both my dietary choices and physical fitness mindset. I'm including my children with this goal, for these changes can help set them up for their future diet and fitness choices they make.

My husband and I have been praying about buying a new house for a few years now. We finally decided that now is the time to buy. If I could take a peek at the end of 2022 I would want to see which house we chose & if we were happy with that choice. You see we have 5 adult children between the ages of 23-29 years old, who live on their own or with their families. We have 3 grandchildren who we ADORE!
