My magical new years resolution would be to have more patience with people, and especially people whom frustrate me.

If I could magically stick to my resolution, I'd be more emotionally present, involved l, and vulnerable with my family and loved ones.

I read a post on FACEBOOK, left by a fellow Combat Veteran I served in Iraq with. It said, "The only time we see each other is for the One or Two Funerals each year...". I Guess that would be it, if I were to uphold a New Years Resolution, it would be to get together with my Brothers more often. To show them I'm available, and accessable... So we're not joining back up together for another Funeral...

It takes one person with the resolve tp make it happen - be that person. We are having reunions on a regular schedule since 1976. it's like reuniting with family everytime we get together.

I would run everyday like when I used to when I wanted to be special forces or a Drill Instructor. If I was still in the Marines I would have loved being a Drill Instructor.

I would actually start running every day like I used to when I thought I wanted to be part of special forces or a drill instructor. If I was still in the Marines I would have loved being a Drill Instructor.

My New Years Resolution would be to visit 1 new country and 3-4 new American states every year. A resolution like this would require planning and would be fun to do as travel is fun to do.

I'm going to try to not eat out as much and save money by cooking at home. It's tough because I drive 1 hour each way for work and work 9 hour days.

When I was in the service not only was I in good shape, I really liked myself and the path I was on. Now as an older, retired disabled vet I’m not only in horrible shape… I don’t like myself very much. If I could make one New Years Resolution that I could keep it would be to not only get in shape I would lose weight as well. I would love to like myself again.
