If you could magically stick to your New Years resolution, what would you choose to see through and why?

My New Year's resolution is to resubmit my VA claim. I have what I need to do it and I know how to do it, the last two years have just been crazy and stressful. When that is completed I can concentrate on my other goals, making my business thrive, finishing my second novel, and last but certainly not least helping other Veterans and their families.

We still doing that resolution b.s.! Tried it so many times, because when something drastic happens through that year, out goes that resolution. But always, you've tried your best. And keep moving forward. Every year I always try to balance our finances and try to make more. 4 have families, 3 are in college, 3 in high school and 1 elementary. And that's my resolution every year to assist my kids in any way. That's all folks. Thanks.

I'd say to compete my doctoral disertation and graduate this year. That would be absolutely fabulous!

If I could magically stick to my New Years resolution, and see anything through, it would be to make one legacy worthy memory with someone I love each and everyday. When our jobs here are complete, and we return to wherever each of us came, it's only our legacy that will proceed us, it's what separates us from others, kinda like our trademark on the world. I want to know, when all is said and done, that my legacy will live on, and will withstand the test of time! That's what I would do if I magically could see it through ...

I violated my resolution by making it....to make no resolution

Getting back on Rally Point. Yes cheesy answer. But really the resolution is to not be a social ghost on line and IRL.

The new year resolution I can see myself sticking with the next 12 months is self-care. As a single parent and care provider for elderly parents, I'm no good to them if I don't take time to care for myself also.
It's like the plane ride when we must put on the oxygen mask first before tending to our loved ones.

My resolution was not to have a New Years resolution! I sincerely hope I don't have trouble sticking to it!

Start a gratitude list and add to it each day b/c gratitude is quite possibly the single most powerful weapon we have in our arsenal that we can control which directly relates to better sleep, improved mental and emotional health, better relationships, and hope for the future.
