A new year means a fresh start and new resolutions. By nature, resolutions are hard to keep and inevitably as life goes on we tend to forget about the promises we made on the first of the year. But if you could magically see a resolution through completion, what would you choose to stick with and why? Comment and automatically get entered to win a $100 Amazon gift card!

This contest will run from 1/3/22 - 1/31/22. Official rules and regulations can be found here: https://rly.pt/RALLYSWEEPSRULES

I am not doing a traditional New Year's Resolution per se, but I am going to be stepping back and not getting into pissing contests/dick measuring contests with people on the internet over topics where neither side is going to change their opinion, and someone says something that steps over a line, admins get involved, etc, etc, etc...

PV2 Jason Myers - Facebook, Twitter, YouTube all are corrupt in their censorship of any views that are not liberal enough. No time for any of them.

My husband did that as well. He actually went so far as staying off social media and deleting his account. He started a new one but does not follow all the people or news things his old account followed. He would respond or write a lot of political posts and I think it stressed him out! He finally realized it. That’s a good resolution!

Quit smoking. I would love to quit smoking because I have 3 going kids and I want to be around to see them grow up.

I quit about 30 years ago, was only a 1 pack a day smoker but just decided one day that I was done, told my wife and kids I was done and haven't had a cigarette since. After about the 3rd day I really didn't have any cravings or desires and I had been smoking since I was about 15. Oh by the way I tried quitting several hundred times before I was really ready to.
My Son who is now 35 and has smoked since he was 17 is trying to quit and he is using a vape and is having a lot harder time than I did but we are all very supportive and hope he can do it.

When the life insurance agent told me (in 1993) the rate differential between smoker and non-smoker, I quit that day. Sometimes, "money talks" but beyond that, actuarial tables can be very sobering. Hmmm, another bad habit to think about giving up?

I put my 3-month old son in the hospital from some mysterious illness. Turns out the boy was allergic to nicotine. No better incentive to quit then not being able to hold your own child for fear of poisoning them.

I can spot a blowhard a mile away and Trump is a B.S.er from NYC. If there is anything to Hunter's business dealings we would have heard it by now. Besides, why are they attacking Joe's son? Probably because they can't dig up any dirt on ByeDon (and believe me they have tried - remember the Ukraine scandal?). These are red herrings to deflect the true corrupt nature of Trump and his minions. Magicians use this technique in their craft. His radical agenda has, in part, passed like the Infrastructure bill - there's still time to get the rest done, son. And I actually watch MSNBC; I don't get FOX on DISH network and that's fine with me. Next time you want to look something up on the internet - find how many times FOX News has received the George F. Peabody Award for Outstanding Journalism. Good luck because it's ZERO! Final point - the GOP doesn't care about poor white trailer trash - they only care about their own wealth and their stock dividends. They are called conservatives because the only thing they want to conserve is their wealth, certainly not the environment. I despise rich people who think they are better than anyone else and look down their nose at others less fortunate. I guess you have assets over a milluion dollars, if you don't the GOP doesn't care about you. I am not entirely anti-GOP I had much respect for John McCain and Reagan but these republicans are "old school", in fact Mitch McConnell hates Trump but knows he has to bide his time because of his own career. But you have been duped by Trump and one day you may realize it, if not, I wish you all the best.

MSNBC is so far behind Fox in viewership, it's not funny.

MSNBC has never won a Peabody either, so the fact that Fox hasn't really is immaterial.

The network that has won the most is PBS, which displays the bias's of the Peabody award towards real news.

Living in denial of the truth is not a good look for you. It's led you to a life of frustration and apparently poverty.

And yes, I do have assets over a million dollars and don't owe anyone a dime.

Not bad for someone that grew up in a family of 10 in one of the strongest Democratic regions of the country and joined the service during the Viet Nam war, served 6 years and has no college degree. I did it by hard work, spending less than I made and investing in myself.

Trump wasn't (isn't) perfect. I didn't care for his tweeting either. But he provided results that were good for the country. No one foresaw the Covid pandemic coming, but Trump initiated Operation Warp Speed that delivered 3 vaccines.

Biden said during the campaign, "Anyone who's responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America,".

I wish Joe would follow his own words. Despite having 3 vaccines for the entirety of his presidency, Joe has over 450,000 deaths under his watch.

Joe campaigned that Trump didn't provide enough testing capability. Well, we're in the third year of this pandemic and Joe hasn't failed miserably, despite claiming last July 4th, “Today, while the virus hasn’t been vanquished, we know this: It no longer controls our lives, it no longer paralyzes our nation and it’s within our power to make sure it never does so again.”.

Earth to Joe and those who believe in him: You were wrong, again.

I really don't have time to argue with anyone over King Donald. He is clearly a wannabee dictator who cares not for others - only himself. Ask his niece Mary. So, you have proven my point with your admission that you have assets over a million dollars. Well done but money isn't everything. For it is said by Jesus himself: "I tell you solemnly, it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Yes, I tell you again, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven." It is really more about caring for your fellow man and Donald has no capacity for that. Goodbye and good luck!

SSgt Bruce Gowings - I personally don't care who anyone is for as long as you get out and vote, everyone makes their own mistakes, just look at how far we have came since Biden took over, every thing is up in price, we have lost face with all of our allies, inflation has creeeped higher than Jimmy Carter had it, and everything in the supply chain is sitting somewhere in the Ocean.
