if you get hurt in Afghanistan and they send you home to recover, are you still getting the same salary?

Yes, the same base pay but you don’t get some of the other pays like hazard duty and such. No famaly separation pay if you were getting that. You may continue to get the tax exclusion.

Nothing. SPC (Join to see) if you are a reservist you can apply for VA. But if you’re active duty you don’t get anything but can apply for VA when you get out.

Look kid, the only difference between A-stan and home- 1. No shooting at you. 2. No Combat pay. 3. No family separation pay. Catch the drift here?
