Uniforms
If you had a choice, which uniform pattern/style would you want to wear?

This year, the Joint Staff’s top enlisted adviser, Marine Sgt. Maj. Bryan Battaglia, said the mix of uniforms makes the U.S. military look like a “Baskin-Robbins” and signaled his support for a common uniform.

But Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Amos recently said preserving the Corps’ MARPAT pattern is a top priority and declared that his service will stick to it “like a hobo to a ham sandwich.”

Sorry but ABUs are probably tied with NWUs for the worst camouflage in history. ABU's will blend you with a blue tiger. At least BDUs blend with something natural.

I think we should just use Multicam. I think its the best looking camo on the battle field and in a garrison uniform. Not to mention we already have it and have spent billions on developing it.

My las trip down range I saw at 3 of the 4 branches wearing Multi-cam...if it's good enough for all of us down range its good enough for us all in garrison, that and it just looks a hell of a lot better than ACU's.

When I first enlisted in the Army, we were wearing the OD green fatigues and the class B uniform was khakis. I really liked the Khaki uniform as it looked sharp. I really don't see why they don't go back to it. I've been through the changes to the BDU and ACU, the elimination of the khakis and going changing the Class A shirt from poplin to that very light green shirt that when you work your ribbons and skill identifier badges looked awful because the would make the shirt sag. I retired as they were replacing the Class A to the Dress Blues. Each time there's a uniform change it creates a financial hardship for a large percentage. I wish they could come up with something they would just stick to that was functional, comfortable, and looked professional and then keep it.
