If you left the military today, what field would your experience put you in and how much would you make (MOS/AOC would be nice too)??

I retired in 1996 - was network engineer with then current certs (Banyan, Netware CNE, MSCE and Cisco) - went in to high 70s, went rapidly above 6 figures. Recently hired someone in the 80k range as a start, with minimal certs but good experience.

As it happens I am applying for Hazardous Materials/Environmental Health Technician for a University here in Portland. As a CBRN soldier, this would be a great entry level position that is advertised at $51-83K.
