Am not advocating a military coup so don't shoot the messenger. That said, our government is clearly not listening to the people that elected it, and we have a Constitutional crisis on our hands. The Federal Gov't is trying to import people it can't screen which puts Americans at risk. The Governors of at least 30 States are rejecting the refugees this Administration is trying to bring in against the popular will of the people. We have seen what is going on in Europe and retired Generals are starting to talk about removing our Commander in Chief. Do you agree with them?

NOTE: This is directed at V, R, and C, and SM are advised to NOT COMMENT on this discussion.

“We came out of the White House not only dead-broke, but in debt. We struggled to piece together the resources for mortgages for houses.”

“Don’t let anybody tell you that it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.”

“…showing respect for one’s enemies… empathize with their perspective and point of view…”

"I remember landing under sniper fire..."

"We've seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video."

"We have four dead Americans... Was it because of a protest, or was it because of guys out for a walk one night and they decide they're going to go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?!!"

To be fair Socialism and Progressivism are the same but different. They have the same goals; they just have a slightly different means of getting to the same end state. Hillary considers herself a Democratic Progressive, whilst Bernie Sanders considers himself a Democratic Socialist. The Democratic Party is not the same party that it once was under JFK. It has been hijacked by Progressive Socialists. The Democratic Party has moved farther to the left toward Socialism and Socialism is the mother of Progressivism. Many folks consider Progressivism and Socialism to be virtually interchangeable. But if you want to nitpick there are differences. Allow me clue you in.

Supporters of Progressivism mix elements of Capitalism and Socialism in their efforts to ensure the equal distribution of wealth amongst members of society. Socialists are more direct in their approach toward income redistribution, but their end state is the same.

Progressives and Socialists believe that where wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few, such wealth must be put under the control of a democratic political establishment that puts it back in the people's hands. Progressives support economic egalitarianism and as such, treat members of society as co-equals in terms of their right to use the economic resources and wealth and their contribution to such wealth and resources.

Socialism is considered the mother of progressivism and explains their common goal of attaining equality among individuals in society.

1SG Adais Garcia - SSG John Thornton's suggestion might have went over your head. What he's trying to point out is that there is no "someone higher than CIC" in our government structure. A civic's lesson would educate you on how our government is structured.. That's it..

SSG (Join to see) - and SGT Howell, Hey guys, I believe this site is to spread information and maybe ideas with each other. Both of you have enough brains to hold an intelligent conversation. Dead people voting is perfectly legal (LOL) in Texas. LBJ used it and I bet a lot more Democrats from Texas used it. A valid I.D. card should be mandatory. Dang, to me a person should be proud to be able to vote and proud to show you are doing it legally. Hope this ends the pissing contest. thanks for your service.

I remember being on duty when Turkey experienced a military takeover in 1980. As a very young airman, I remember the surprise and shock I felt, and thought such a thing would never happen in my country. To even propose the scenario smacks of insurrection. While I may have strong disagreement with the behavior of the man, our system for dealing with trouble in the office of POTUS must be trusted. This is what sets us apart from the rest of the world.

Our free and fair elections also set us apart from the world. But seeing as how the rest of the world is fine with Voter ID and Democrats here oppose it, I have to wonder if we're not losing that sense of national pride and honor that we once had. I can no longer say with confidence that our elections are honest and votes are counted accurately. Voting is one of the most, if not THE MOST sacred privilege we have as citizens of this great Constitutional Republic. Not only is it a privilege but it is a right! Every person should get one vote and be equally and fairly represented but that isn't quite how it worked in Ohio, where > 100% of registered voters voted in various precincts last General Election. How is it mathematically possible? Generally speaking you're doing pretty good if 50% of voters show up on election day. How does one get > 100% of those who registered?

I feel that corruption is becoming more and more a problem within our government. Our Founding Fathers foresaw the potential for corruption and gave us a system of checks and balances, the purpose of which was to allow our government the ability to protect itself should one branch become to powerful. Unfortunately, we have allowed too much power to be centralized in the Executive Branch and the States are losing their sovereignty and being dictated to by our Federal Gov't. That's NOT how it was ever intended to work!

I have lost confidence in our POTUS because he has a very bad habit of lying to the American public and withholding information regarding wrongdoing by his Administration. He presides over the most scandal plagued Administration in American history and virtually no one is held accountable for their failures. Loyalty in protecting Obama (i.e., putting out false narratives, destroying evidence, and obfuscating investigations) is rewarded with promotion.

Our system for dealing with corruption has been compromised. Obama appointed justices or justices with ties to the Obama Administration have shut down every investigation on his eligibility and he has managed to delay investigation into what happened at Benghazi. 2012 and over three years later AND WE STILL! DON'T HAVE ANSWERS to the questions we have been asking... What is wrong with this picture? What happened to Obama's promises of transparency?!!

Obama needs to be impeached, but nobody in Congress has the testicular fortitude required to do it. WHY?!! America, once proud, is now so far in debt that it will take generations to fix the mess. We have a government that has ceased listening to the voice of We The People and are headed fast down the path to Socialism.

Like it or not, Barry is our lawfully elected President. Now if he were legally impeached, remove him from office but DO NOT use the military to do so.

I don't think he was lawfully elected. Obama vetted himself with computer generated forgeries. Regardless of where he was born, that is a criminal offense. Congress shirked its duties and a corrupt Judicial system tossed every case out challenging Obama's eligibility on procedural or technical grounds. Not once was his eligibility established.

And the very same people that would disagree with me and argue for Obama's eligibility are the ones calling for Trump's impeachment. SMH

On a serious note, we lost a lot of fine officers who were forced into retirement early because they spoke their minds and told truths which this Administration didn't want to hear. General Mattis among them...

Wow, what a speech. He would make an excellent president. I can relate to KC-130. I saw the first one on Okinawa. I walked over and checked it out. The 130 could slow down enough to allow a helicopter to "hook-up".Just a little history--we copied air refueling from the British. They used a metal cone which would fly all over due to air flow. A US refueling operator designed the "slat type" used today. since then we have hooked up refueling capability to every thing. Extends our range world wide. We guided various airplanes to tankers in Vietnam while flying EC-121's.

Agreed. I believe we have a lot of sell-outs in Washington [from both sides of the aisle] who are worried that if they bring charges against Obama, they might be implicated as well for their complicity and go down with him.

I'm sorry but none of those charges have any validity. I find it extremely troubling that you're using a conservative rag as proof other than a proper source of information. You do realize that the first couple of charges levied against him in the article are in fact bogus. The IRS was not under the direct orders from the president to "go after" conservative groups. When that story broke the only groups that were fined were liberal groups. On top of that the IRS should've been scrutinizing those groups for violating the provisions for tax exemptions.

Do you think I'll find anything critical of this Administration in a liberal rag? What kind of dope are you smoking? In nearly every scandal involving this Administration, the trail of evidence leads straight back to the White House. For example, Fast and Furious. This one involved AG Eric Holder, and Obama swore up and down he had nothing to do with it, YET! Obama invoked Executive Privilege. If he wasn't involved then why invoke Executive Privilege? There's no need to to that if he's clean. In fact, should a President even be allowed to invoke Executive Privilege if they have stated they weren't involved?

Okay, let's just say the White House didn't directly tell Lois Lerner to do that. Instead they communicated that indirectly to her. When your CO says, "I think this would be a good idea." What is he telling you? He's saying "Get it done!" in a nice way. When Obama singles out the Tea Party and insinuates they are a domestic threat, what is he saying? Does communicating indirectly make it any less wrong? If Lerner acted on her own to target Conservative groups AND SHE DID TARGET THEM, then why wasn't she held accountable for abusing her powers? If you insist she didn't target conservatives, then please explain how liberal groups requests were facilitated while conservative groups needed more investigation? Who says they violated the provisions for tax exemptions? They were applying for it and had their requests held up.

Capt. Jeff Schwager, your evidence and consistent reliance upon opinion pieces to source your facts don't add up. When trying to claim opinions as facts you come up wanting and looking like someone who doesn't do their research. I'm an independent voter that fact checks the hell out of all candidates and measures before I offer up my vote.
The Tea Party, Democratic Party, and Republican Party should not be allowed to claim tax exemption status if they are using funds to promote politics. The only groups that had their tax status revoked because of this violation were 2 Democratic groups.

Our country went eight years with a Constitutionally unqualified fraud squatting in the office he isn't qualified to hold. We are now 10 trillion additional dollars in debt and race relations have been set back 50 years. Obama was not presidential and his behavior now is pathetic. He visited Hawaii and two days later his Appointed Judge decides to do an end around on Trump's EO. It does not take a genius to connect dots.

Our gov't busies itself shredding our Constitution and you, smug in your fucked up arrogance consider yourself a patriot? Damn, I knew it was bad but I didn't think they had purged THAT many leaders from our military. What is left? It disgusts me to see what has become of our country and our kinder, gentler politically correct military.

Should things go south and let's say the commie fascists you support pull a coup and oust or assassinate Trump, whom the people elected. What will you do? Sit on your hands and watch it happen?

Where will you stand? In the corner? I'll be standing with those who seek a return to the vision our Founding Fathers had for this country and for your sake I hope you are smart enough to distinguish between a lawful order and an unlawful one. If I were you, I would think twice about following orders to fire on U.S. citizen patriots that are peacefully protesting.
