Something needs to be done. We seem to have dumb cop after dumb cop on the nightly news. The fact that Dallas only JUST happened and with so LITTLE police officer death is quite frankly, amazing. As pissed as black people are right now, we all need to collectively thank any diety we care to worship that the death and destruction is as small as it is.

With so many folks pushing for a confrontation there is bound to be a major incident one day. So many folks want a showdown but won't have the balls to put up or shut up. In the end the innocent will suffer the most.

CSM Charles Hayden Passed 7/29/2025 Why do you think that? The Guard and US Army were called up and involved in other clashes post Kent state....Joint Task Force-Los Angeles Headquarters. JTF-LA was put together by the Regular Army's U.S. Forces Command in Atlanta which assigned 2,023 troops from the 7th Infantry Division and 1,508 Marines from Camp Pendleton>
Care to guess where I was last week Apr, 1st week May....1992

SGM Erik Marquez - I'd like to take a guess that you had been in California? (personally I was only 7 in '92) Only because of this song on the radio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oM1a1ycLtRs

I know the NG hasn't been called up in this specific situation however, if one or more "hate" groups takes advantage of the tension (eg: skinheads, or an ISIS cell) and escalates things in any city beyond the police capability to contain. A governor can, and has in the past, called up the NG.
That being said, I also believe the NG is much better trained and capable now than they were in the late 60's and early 70's.

BE MINDFUL. tensions are high, I live in the country with no neighbors for a reason. I work in the city. Hallways are being given a wide passage. Exactly the same as the Michael Brown incident. Additionally, staff is reduced due to call ins. Limited eye contacted is being presented. God bless the entitlement diseased populous at large who feel the need to cry foul and protest to the extreme of violence because "that's how we get's heard"; I say Bull Shit. Burning your neighbors homes and businesses because your pissed off at the stupidity of something some dumbass in another state did is as about as intelligent as slamming your dick in the door. that's my 2 cents. Proceed...
