In Rememberance of our Marines: How will you ensure that they are remembered?

PERFECTION

Beyond the eyes of the Lord lies a man,
A man of perfection, pride, and determination.
He cannot be just any man,
He is the few, he is a Warrior.

He is a soft gentleman of great politeness and courtesy.
But to his enemies,
He is the fiercest thing on Earth.
He is the nightmare to the one he despise,
He is an eagle searching for the mice.

He is a Marine.
Hard-driven, well disciplined,
Who is ready to fight anytime, anyplace,
For the duty of their country.

And for this…
They will always be remembered!

Rest in Peace to our fallen Chattanooga Marines...take your post on the streets of Heaven's scene.

God bless and Semper Fi to our fallen Marines and their families! Its shows our military doesn't have to be deployed to be sent to harms way. Terrorism is a threat even in the homeland and the military is a prime target as we we have seen at Fort Hood, Washington Navy Yard and other installations and offices.

I honor these Marines for their ultimate sacrifice. However, I am outraged that these brave Marines did not have the ability to defend themselves on base, thanks to the stupid law that they cannot carry weapons on post. Thanks Bill Clinton, circa 1993.

4 Marines dead. Killed by the enemy or someone philosophically aligned with the enemy and acting on the enemies expressed orders/wishes etc.

I think it is safe to say we were pretty sure something like this was coming. The DoD has fiddled while Rome burns. We could have been and should have been hardening locations a long time ago. Just over the July 4th holiday we had cities locking things down and here the military sits, fully exposed. The reserve centers certainly have weapons and the ability to provide security for themselves. ANY Marine could have outgunned this loser from longer distances than he was engaging from.

Recruiting offices are more of a challenge. We need to agree to arm recruiters or allow them to be meat on a stick. Most recruiters are NCO's and/or SNCO's. It is past time to allow them to protect themselves from this. I suspect he will not be the last, he certainly was not the first.

Act of cowards with no balls!! We will get revenge and honor our Brothers in wake of this tragedy. Semper Fi fellow Marines!! My thoughts and prayers to the families affected by this horrible event!!

Rest easy now brothers Semper Fi! Everyone wants to know when we are gonna put boots on the ground against ISIS but I want to know when they are gonna let the Devil Dogs off the chain so we can put boots to ass! CHESTY PULLER!

How much more blood needs to be spilled before we get boots on the ground? This is just ridiculous. My prayers go out to the families of the everyone that was involved..
