In your opinion, who was or who is the greatest woman is U.S. military history? Support your argument. My vote is for BG Rhonda Cornum, who was taken as a POW during the Gulf War when her aircraft was downed. She is a prime example of resiliency. During her captivity, she essentially dreamed up the foundation for what we now know as Comprehensive Soldier Fitness and Master Resiliency. HOOAH! My second choice would be the founder of the Red Cross, the legendary Clara Barton.

General Dunwoody,

She was my BN XO, add Then BC LTC Carl Freeman and Major Scott West for the division parachute officer! They were very impressive to work for.

Also there was this nurse that was in Vietnam whose name I can not think off. She said that she watched about 800 men die. I can not imagine what it takes to bear that weight.

Harriet Tubmen, while she wasn't officially military, she worked with the Union army to lead raids and fee slaves in the south during the civil war.

Great leader, I like the way she was able to put into words. Control the controlable. Life has things that you can control A pile and then there are things you can't control or don't matter B pile of importance.
