Iranian leader tweets graphic of Obama with gun to head -
Do we have more of this to look forward to?

RP members I know we have heard enough about the Nuclear Deal, but it this diplomacy at work?

What type of message should we be returning? (Be politically correct please)

There will be no change as to how they operate. IMHO.

Iran has been laughing at us this whole time and will be rolling on the ground laughing soon.

This needs to be recognized as a RESPONSE to either a statement made by POTUS or a perceived statement by POTUS. 1. If the statement was made by POTUS what was the context in which it was said? Reply through diplomatic channels to address it. 2. If the statement wasn't made by POTUS in any form then state so publicly and address the issue of the use of diplomatic channels.

I think you're correct, I further think the statement POTUS made was the nuclear agreement. Iran knows it was foolish on our part to agree to it. Therefore, the picture.

We American citizens, and particularly military veterans, have earned the right, even duty, to criticize our President when we feel he is wrong.

However, for Iran (allegedly since the Twitter account is unverified) to tweet a picture like that is grounds for retaliation.

As Bugs Bunny said "Of course you know this means war..."

Reminds me of the level of disrespect GW Bush got from the other side. I guess it only depends on which side you're on?

COL Mikel J. Burroughs The Iranians will continue to be Anti-US and Israel. The Iranian agreement being pushed by the Obama Administration reinforces what was a weak religiously intolerant government that had to crush citizen unrest in 2009.
We are providing material support to terrorist who will do us and our allies harm and we will not have the common sense to take them at their word!

"providing material support to terrorist who will do us and our allies harm" isn't that at the worst, treason? Or at the best subversion?

I won't go there, that is a bridge too far...
Elections have consequences.
While you and I may agree that we believe these are logical consequences of the policy. The President and supporters will argue the opposite. You can't prove cause and effect until after the event and then we will all debate the result...
This is why elections matter, specific philosophies gain control and set the agenda. We can only point out the debate, make our argument and attempt to influence the outcome.
I HOPE Obama's leadership works, I struggle to find a time in history that appeasement has worked. I can only advocate for Congress to reject this agreement and advocate to keep the existing sanctions in place. Sadly we know that regardless of what Congress votes, Obama will move forward with the agreement. Could turn out to be like Nixon/China in 1970's --- generally good results

I think he is far more Neville than Winston. And, since we have not prosecuted a war properly since WWII, I am not surprised by the concessions we continue to make with American lives.

All politicians seek emotional headlines by playing to their home audiences to look like they are leading; politics disguised as religion is no exception.

Of course. I'm just dumbfounded that people think the Iranians are going to be good faith players. Do they not pay attention to the "Death to Israel, Death to America" chants? Sheesh! This administration is complicit in Israel's and our suicide!

Nothing. It's absurd and doesn't merit a response. We "speak softly and carry a big stick" while other nations feel the need to thump their chests and try to call us out, because they know we're the most powerful military force on the planet.
