So I was cruising the internet and found this... http://www.churchofbey.org/. Which caused me to do a Bing search on this and oh my! Here is an article I found about "The National Church of Bey", not sure if it is the same thing as the "Church of Bey" -- http://www.breathecast.com/articles/beyonce-inspired-religion-the-national-church-of-bey-opens-in-georgia-with-hundreds-15435.

The Church of Bey - The believers or "beylievers" believe that if they live like Beyoncé then they will be more like her. I'm not sure if this is a spoof or what not, but I think this is taking things a little too far.
That is all I will say. Now looking at "The National Church of Bey", they seem to call the religion "Beyism". I'm really starting to think that these are two different "religions".

I will leave it to you all to figure this one out. My brain can't take it anymore.

As one who believes in what the Christian Bible says about religion, I would have to agree that Beyism is a religion. Now, I cannot endorse it because of what the Bible says about non-Christian religions. But since Beyism is a religion, Beyists should be given same recognition as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and the Wiccans. It does not mean I have to agree with them, but it does mean they should be given proper accommodation and adherents should be given the same amount of time to worship as long as the needs of the military are not interfered with. Also, religious rites mustn't cause endangerment to fellow servicemen or military property or cause a lack of perceived or actual descency and orderliness. That is how I understand it.

Given respect but you don't have to agree with them. As long as they don't try to shove their philosophy upon us.

I don't see why not. Beyonce exists, so it's already well ahead of the game religion wise... Besides, who is to say it's illegitimate? If you apply a burden of proof to one religion, you have to do it to all. Fair is fair.

But what if you belong to the splinter group that does not hold that Jay-Z is the messiah?
