Is China inoculating or immunizing or shutting down like the United States?

I talked to 3 students at 24 hour fitness from China Last night. The discussion was race in general. There was a African American involved. We all had a good discussion.

The topic would get to COVID.

They confirmed it started in that one city, and that one city, was locked down for months, and then everything now is back to Normal

How did it get around the world so fast but seemingly avoid other major cities in China. Or is China’s response completely different?


I suppose their was no vaccine yet created before they went to open up before the shut down of the city they locked down.

Again they said that China has been back to normal for a long time.
