Is complaining about the Army of today a offense to those who bravely and selfless served since Civil War?

In regards of the paycheck, work conditions and the absence of many privileges of those before us, I am seriously wondering if complaining about every little thing today isn't insulting the memory of their sacrifice for this Country?
Where is the honor when we spend so much time complaining about every little thing instead of doing our part to be part of the solution?

Service members from the 20th Century and earlier endured a lot with less compared to what 21st Century service members today.

Complaining is a right of passage for service members, it's been happening since the beginning of time and it will always happen. (i.e. If it ain't raining we ain't training; if it ain't snowing we ain't going)
I think there is a difference between complaining about normal stuff that everyone does and complaining about a situation you as a leader have the ability to fix. If you as a leader sit around and complain instead of fixing things you are part of the problem.
