Is it acceptable to post WW2 historical videos that contain very graphic content?

I was only hesitant to send them in as they do, I'm afraid, get rather graphic and more than somewhat grisly in places. At the same time, I found them quite historically illuminating, though I certainly realized many on here might not esp! want to see fare of that sort, so, before sending them in, I thought I should ask beforehand, for what I hope are obvious reasons, many thanks...

I really appreciate your sensitivity about this. Everyone approaches the subject in different ways; if it can “drive home” the “viciousness” of war, the “fragility” of life, and the “finality” of death without sensationalism, than I think you will have accomplished your objective. Personally, I’ll take a pass on this b/c I have enough memories and visions of death, gore, and destruction to last me a lifetime. Others may still be able to learn from your post.

I entirely understand, I merely thought to ask in that fashion as one never quite knows in advance, unlessmone asks a priori what the reaction generally might be, and I was merely trying to err on the side of caution. I was noncombat, I'd asked to ne allowed to go to Gulf War I and was on the volunteer list, though I was never used, I became too ill, I'm afraid, I did actually get a Petter of appreciation for being in the list, which I di in fact still have. When I'd been in, I'd been in a clinical circumstance (I wasn't clinical then myself, I just happenednto ne there for other unrelated reasons), when I happened to see and get to chat slightly with victims of what happened in one circumstance that occurred while I was in, which I do quite vividly recall. Also, on a work-related trip once, I happened to see, with a civil servant I'd been sent to assist, another similarly wrenching incident, that equally lingers in my mind. Obviously, neither of those could even remotely compare to anything you might've seen, I completely comprehend that, however, I merely thought to mention both of those instances, as they've both stuck with me in my mind ever since, in any event, I of course very greatly map predicate your taking the time towrite back to the extent you were able, much appreciated, certainly...

It does relate to such things, it does relate to actual footage of what really happened to the German war criminals, of course...also, however, there:s one film involving the whole incident of what happened to one US soldier in Europe, most especially, a singularly painful yet all too true incident, one of the nest TV films of the early 70s...trust me, this is about as graphic and grisly as that sort of stuff gets, yet all true, even if ad libbed somewhat in the film I'd mentioned, though sparingly in that case. So, once again, if you all want to see it, I can send a few instances in here, since I prefaced what it would be, at least, in this posting...once against , I'll wait, give me more feedback, OK? It can wait, there's no rush involved, I've waited this long, I can wait a trifle longer, certainly, many thanks for the thoughts thus far...
