More than normal? Hmmm - have to check stats for the facts but it desn't seem so. Probably they are being more vocal about it.

Lately everytime I look at a Marine Times someone is being relieved of command for all kinds of reasons. Ten in the last 6 months. Maybe your right, there being more vocal about it, but the Marines have always leaned toward more of a learn from your mistakes attitude rather that cut off their heads.

doesn't seem to be just the Marine Corps. Lot of Navy officers too

Can't drive boats onto other boats, how that's possible with today's electronic gear is beyond me.

I agree with SFC Kelley, there’s more media coverage on the individuals getting relieved. Hitting close to home though, our CO got relieved for his incident in Darwin.
