My wife has several mental disorders and they are affecting her very severely do to the fact that she is having to take care of her mother ,who has the same mental disorders, with little to no help.

Your chain of command could expedite it, if they wanted to. But, assuming you are an AIT student, they have no reason to add extra work to their plate in order to get you out faster. TRADOC locations have a process for separating IET Soldiers, and they are very efficient at it. It will go as fast as it goes.

All of the initial paperwork is signed I’m currently just waiting on the phase 2 physical to have the packet go up my chain of command

I have seen the packets expedited, all of which are on an individual basis. Keep your NCO chain in the loop and seek out your Chaplain for guidance on any assistance available to you.
