Is it possible that the Army Guard can reclassify me as part of my annual two weeks?

You say you were active duty Army but your profile says Air Force , that makes a difference.

You were in the Army with an MOS, so you will not need BCT.
96R no longer exists, I don't know if it was rolled up to 35T or simply abandoned, so you will need an MOS.
There are no MOS-Transition courses that are two weeks long. There are a few that are four weeks long that you can split over two years of AT, or you can take both phases consecutively. The rest are longer. Either way, you do this in lieu of your unit's AT.

I don’t know if they still do it, but there used to be a thing call the Warrior Transition Course for prior service people that were out for a certain period of time and/or coming from a different service. I don’t know if they still do that though.

As far as reclass, it depends on your MOS. When I reclassed to 31B back in 07/08, I had to do 6 months of drills at our RTI and then 2 weeks at another RTI. So that went from like 20 weeks to 4.

They have reclass courses for some 15 series as well in PA and AZ.

The length of the reclass course depends on what the AD school house wants because all of the sites that do reclassing are accredited by the respective school houses.

It's all different. I was out for 10 years came back in 2010 and did not do BT nor MOS reclass. That was me, I've heard different. It's based on the current In and Out rules for USAREC.

I went to basic this past Feb. we have an E5 Sergeant who had been out over 5 years and he had to complete basic training all over again.

Depends on how long ago you went to basic and when you were discharged. Reclassification time depends on MOS.

I reclassed from Medic to MP via a ARNG MOS-Q program that took 2 years. I took classes along with about 5 other prior-service Soldiers during monthly drills. One AT, we did AT with everyone else (no MOS Q training) another AT, we did a sort of MOS Q capstone at another post instead of doing AT with rest of our unit. (Then, just after I finished becoming an MP, I went back on active duty and reclassed to Combat Engineer, but anyway.)

So, it's gonna take a lot longer than 2 weeks. A big consideration is what kind of units are near where you live (or within the distance you're willing to drive every month). In two experiences as a National Guard member, I was glad that I lived within an hour's drive of where we drilled. Some people didn't and they had some inconveniences sometimes from that. But if you go talk to a recruiter, they can tell you what units are in your area and what their needs are at the moment.
