Is it possible to attend schools while on Drill Sergeant duty?

Just curious if anybody has any info on if it is possible to still attend schools (Combatives, MRT, SHARP, UPL, etc.) while on Drill Sergeant duty. I’m sure a lot of my answer really depends on the unit, cycle schedules, and other administrative stuff but if anybody has some insight or personal experiences then that would help.

When I was in OSUT, two of our Drill Sergeants--including the senior--headed off for 3 fun filled weeks to do Airborne mid-cycle. So unless something has changed, I don't see why not.
