Is it true that getting the Airborne School in my contract would get me into an airborne unit for 3 years?

I asked about the school, and my recruiter told me something very similar to that.
Personally, I would like to serve as 68w and have some hospital experience sometime during my active service.

Not true. First comes basic training, advanced individual training then additional skill identifier training such as airborne. You gotta pass airborne training first, that school has a high attrition rate

WTH, you don't think that ABN units don't have medics (normally down to PLT level), or we don't have a Hospital (WOMACK)?

Initially, I thought if I be there, I would be on the field for my entire service time and won't have much time for clinical experience...
