I’m looking at volunteering for a deployment to Somalia and wasn’t sure if it is a combat zone.

What theatre does it fall under? OIR? If so you would have to look in regs regarding OIR and what countries fall under it and if Somalia does fall under it then you would receive that particular pay for the area.
