Is the cost of living higher in the Fort Campbell area compared to the Ft Bliss, TX area?

It's relatively the same. I just PCSd from Bliss to Campbell and saw no mentionable changes to cost of living.

2016 BAH for E-5 without dependents at Ft Bliss is $1,053 vs $1,185 at Ft Campbell

Not sure what it's like at Ft Bliss, but here at Campbell it's not that bad. I have a 3 bed 2 bat house for under 900 bucks. Gas is fairly cheap, currently around $1.80, and food isn't that bad depending on where you shop. If you have more specific questions, let me know I will answer them the best I can.

El Paso is not cheep. I don't know what cost of living is at Campbell. Average 3 bed house in El Paso runs 900-1000 a month.
