Is there a way to find out who blocked you on RP and why??

So, apparently I was blocked by someone and I was just curious more than anything else.

If you espouse certain political values and call out an idiot's hypocrisy, they will block you. It's a badge of honor, really.

WEll again because we don't agree doesn't make the other person an idiot. That is the part we have to stop. Let the person speak their piece, you speak yours and then have a conversation. We can agree to disagree, doesn't make the other an idiot. LOL

I say that because someone who chooses to be willfully ignorant of facts is truly an idiot.

I personally block people for three reasons.
1) The person uses the down vote as a means to express a difference of opinion.
2) The person is so zealous in either pushing religion or right-wing politics that I simply no longer want to interact with him or her.
3) The person uses foul language or spreads conspiracy theory as though it was truth.
I don't block for difference of opinion and have many people here with whom I enjoy spirited and polite discourse from opposing points of view. It is just those hard-core zealots who slant anything and everything (on both sides) with whom I have no desire to interact.

LTC (Join to see) - The zealots do, but there are far fewer left-wing zealots on RP than right-wing zealots. I've only blocked two on the left, but about 20 on the right, which is about the ratio of liberals to comservatives on RP, I would guess.

LTC (Join to see) Wow, you have blocked over 20 people. While there are certainly a few left wing nuts I think might need a padded room and a huggy jacket to keep them safe I've never blocked them (or anyone).

Cpl Jeff N. - There are a few left wing crazies, and there are dozens of right-wing crazies. Most folks are somewhere in the middle.
I do block the extremists, and the religious zealots as well. There is no discourse with them, just endless repetition of taking points and a refusal to acknowledge facts. The dead-horse crowd (Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi, etc.) who even when faced with overwhelming facts just stick to the talking points.
