I am a ROTC cadet currently in the Guard but looking into commissioning into the reserves. I was wondering if anybody knows where or who I can contact for officer openings in certain states? Preferably Hawaii, Virginia, and Tennesee. I’m looking into branching MS, which I know is a challenge since my major is nursing. Appreciate the help and guidance!

if you are talking about a 70B in the reserves I don't think there is any openings since its almost 200% over strength.

You’re State Officer Strength Manager will have a consolidated list of positions in the NG. Your local ROTC Human Tesources Tech will have a national list of USAR vacancies; the local recruiter will also be able to get a list as well if they are on their game. The list changes monthly so what you see today will not be there in months to years so find your connection and keep up with them to stay current.

Also-there is an Army Medical Recruitmg Battalion at Fort Meade who has the medical specific openings that you should interact with as you work towards your commission :) ask you’re PMS or SMI to get the POC for that activity-and your BDE Nurse Officer in ROTC knows a lot of connections as well

At least in TN possibly VA 81st Regional Support Command along with 99th Regional Support Command might be able to help.

Not any more. Just Google or look up thru AKO if you have access. Been retired over five years now so not sure who to call now
