So I have been wondering. I'm leaving for basic in a week. Then ait after. During ait as a 15 w within the army, is there a way to get involved with us carrying payload?

That all depends upon your making it through Basic and AIT. Ask Your Drill Sergeant.

Appreciate it. I didn't know if there was a specific thing I could do

PVT (Join to see), First let me say welcome to the United States Army. You've made a great decision toward your future. Most likely there will be additional training requirements. I do believe it is an ASI (additional skill Identifier) or secondary school, that you can get after you've made it through initial training.

1SG (Join to see) - this helps a lot. I have a 93 asvab and a line score no lower that 126 and wanted to do something greatly advancing but I also still want to be apart of the fight. Almost went infantry actually

So is there a way as a 15w to work with payloads?

I used to know a Navy Reserve Capt (O-6) here in Kansas City working at Grainger, A Fighter Pilot Jock that ran the Flights from the SW USA.
