Did first 4 yrs active and enlisted in the reserves for 6 yrs. So far I’ve completed 3 yrs of this contract and I was wondering if I am eligible to switch jobs by this time?

Changing an MOS is generally reserved as a retention tool, so you could extend for a different mos when you are in your window. In the ARNG if you can get the unit to accept you and send you to school, you can do it, but it’s hard to pull off. I imagine this would be even harder to do in the reserves. I would talk to a career counselor to get a solid answer.

In the Reserves it is possible to switch reclass any time during an enlistment if you move to a new position or transfer units to a new position that requires MOS transition. It could take 6-12 months to get to that school.
