Is there any place, or any way to get a replacement challenge coin?

I had a challenge coin from my 1SG in AIT. It was lost in my PCS from Camp Humphreys.

I got the coin for graduating morse school in record time. It was a Hawgs & Dawgs coin. I don't really care about any of my other awards, but that one was special.

Hmmmm, you would probably have to contact the 1SG for another one - or at least ask where they were fabricated. It always hurts when we lose those little, but big things from our careers.

I should say - I was in AIT in 1999.. it's been awhile. The fact I'm still upset about it should say how much it meant.

Ahh, I mis-remembered. This is a little nicer.

"We do not have any of the old coins. We wish we did too since it would make a nice display! Our new coins are in short supply, so we will not be able to send one out. Sorry!"

You might try contacting the schoolhouse. If I were the current 1SG, and you explained it to me as you did hear, I'd be willing to send you a replacement.

I would gladly pay for it. If I had a good contact at the HQ there, I'd call them personally - even if they could tell me where it was made originally, I could talk them into minting another.

Yeah, I know this was 9 years ago. I wish there was a way, all of my coins were lost when an Ex of mine didn't tell me that the storage they were in was gone...sooooo everything I had from medals, awards in my foot locker gone. I know I can get the medals replaced, but those challenge coins are...yeah.
