Is there any way to bulk add Weapons Quals to DTMS?

So this is a long shot but I just took over the DTMS for my company and have been adding training and certs and weapon qualifications one by one on each individual soldier. Is there a way I could bulk add weapons quals or APFT to soldiers. Or is there any easier way to to add weapon quals other than going to soldier management, last name, clicking soldier and clicking weapons? Thanks in advance!

Yes there is actually! One of my favorite features. Note that you can also do this with APFT and more. But you have to do anyone who has profiles seperate. They have a mass input form as well. See picture below for instructions.

Just saw this but perfect. As a side note if you add personnel to the spreadsheet later you can reuoad same sheet and the only changes that will occur in the system are the new additions so you can maintain one spreadsheet and not several different ones.

I work DTMS for my BN and have contacted the help desk multiple times via phone and email regarding the batch upload. They told me it was supposed to be feature, but for now those options are only a placeholder and do not work. If you have any luck with it, please let me know.

No it is all individual for every Soldier. It its done any different then the system can crash.

Don't know a darn thing about DTMS, and hope I never have to learn either, just commenting because this is the kind of useful conversation I'd like to see on RP instead of name calling and ranting over politics

You have to enter all fields. Date, wpn, score, night nbc and optic etc. You can leave people who have no stats blank but once you fill in data you must complete that SM's data. I just updated everyone's weapon qual.

Unfortunately DTMS is completely individual. I remember my old training nco sitting at the scanner for hours scanning weapons and pt cards (had over 250 soldiers)

Sure is, a few people said no and it's not the case, you need to make DTMS your friend as it's not going away any time soon. I have been a DTMS Master Trainer since it first came out back in like 2006 or something. Knowing how to use and make dtms work is a great tool and will make you an asset to unit who are lost in the sauce. Batch upload is easy. Make your all your soldiers have a weapon assignment or it wont count towards USR reporting. Another good skill to master is USR

Yes, there is that option...you had the whole list and whoever that did not qualify uncheck the list and update...first you have to have admin rights for all the UICs under your Company...

Yes there is. It is called. batch upload. In the upper right corner next to logout there is a drop down with batch upload make the selection and pull the spreadsheet out and save to desktop. DO NOT change any information in the spreadsheet that is prefilled. Once you enter your data save it to desktop and upload it the same way you took the spreadsheet from DTMS. There is a step by step on ATN Army Training Network which can be accessed they the help tab... It works well. Hit me back if you need help. Good luck!

There is also a week long DTMS course your ATRRS operator can out you in for if there is funding. If you have any other questions let me know. Glad to help any way I can.

I have emailed the help desk a few times (as well as ALMS), to ask them to add a "view all Soldiers" "input by unit/roster" and "search by UIC"... so far no response
