Is there more that can be done to help Veterans with PTSD - like Joel Willman's Racing Team?

Here is another great RP Member SPC Joel Willman That is making a difference for Veterans with PTSD. Joel Willman Racing Team (JWRT) and Virtual World Solutions d/b/a Sponsor a Vet Life (VWS SAVL) are working together in operations that support in helping Veterans, Active Duty Members, and their Families that suffer from PTSD, TBI, MST, and that are severely disabled. By combining their efforts and services, they can achieve more results in providing the necessary funding, sponsorship, and services needed to accomplish this mission. JWRT’s mission is to help create awareness about Veterans, and Military Personnel, and their families that are suffering from PTSD, TBI, other debilitating diseases, and injuries. JWRT efforts are to help bring veterans into a team atmosphere where they can understand they are not alone, as well meet other men and women battling the same issues. With the organizations that are apart of RACING TO STOP PTSD/TBI. JWTR is looking to create a network of like-minded companies that support the very men and women that keep us safe daily. VWS SAVL environments help SAVE LIVES! VWS SAVL proved this when they helped prevent six suicide attempts from our former virtual onshore outsourcing business; which employed over 500 severely injured veterans and special needs individuals. The VWS SAVL mandate is to help Active Duty, Transitioning, Veterans, and Military Families fight the effects of PTSD and live productive and satisfying lives.

Check out Joel's website: http://joelwillmanracing.com/team.html

1. We are looking for veterans or active duty service members with PTSD, TBI, MST or that are severely disabled that want to join the "confidential" Program. This program is not tied to the VA, nor will it affect your current benefits.

2. We are looking for veterans, spouses, or caregivers to volunteer their services in a number of areas: bookkeeping, administrative assistants, IT, project management, human resources, and operations that can commit to at least 10 hours a week working online to support Sponsor a Vet Life. Please send your resume to: [login to see] . These positons will eventually become subcontracted opportunities.

3. WE NEED ACTIVE DUTY AND VETERANS FOR REMOTE WORK FROM HOME OR ANY LOCATION THEY HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER & A PHONE. IF INTERESTED EMAIL: [login to see]

Here is a link to our newsletter for more information about the services:

If you are in need of immediate support you can reach out to our Veteran Chat Group on Skype by sending a request to:

Not sure but perhaps contacting the states va offices might provide some contacts. Also a lot of large companies may have ties into the communities that could be utilized.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs it appears this is where 'the rubber meets the road', an opportunity to serve our fellow vets with whatever skill we possess in a worthwhile cause. Thanks for this post. I will commit to and be connecting with this organization to offer pro bono VR counseling services online. Thanks for this post, literally an answer to a prayer.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - I am actually looking into becoming a golf instructor once I retire. It would be an honor for me to be able to assist vets and wounded warriors!

I really dont know as much on this subject as i really should. I know the help is out there but do they treat it like an addiction like we cant help you until you admit you may have a problem? Just wondering

At this time we are seeking Marketing partners that will sign up for a 2 year contract. This will allow the team to focus on marketing, events and opportunities to be successful in creating awareness for Veterans that are suffering from PTSD / TBI.
