He has tenacity! He is not very tactful! He is TRUMP!!! He has said his mind from day 1. He cannot be hushed by the big wigs of the devided politics. If he wants he will go independent and has the money to do it. I think he is a threat. He is a wrecking ball for this underground political empire that has been slowing building in our country. I need to see his ability to conduct himself as a political symbol and not a reality TV host before I make my decision. What's your thoughts on him?

I don't think he will win the GOP nomination or if he ran as a third party candidate he would win the election. I don't think he believes he will either. I think what he wants is to shape the debate/discussion. He doesn't really have the temperament to run the country. Diplomacy, tact, bearing are not strong suits for him.
I like some of his irreverence and willingness to pop politicians in the nose (both parties). He pulls no punches and calls some of them out for what they are.

Why Not? We elected a guy with exactly 143 days of political experience to be the President in 2008.

Well said. A guy who had accomplished absolutely NOTHING as a politician. Had NEVER accomplished anything in the civilian sector. And, as POTUS, now he's been linked to, involved in, or surrounded by more scandals than one could possibly make up.... SMH.

He has spoken his mind, like saying John McCain was a loser for being a PoW.
I just can't respect or take the guy seriously as a political candidate.

McCain is a loser. He's a lying, two-timing scumbag. I don't care about his war record or the fact he was a POW. That was a life time ago. Just like I don't care about John Ketchup Kerry's 3 purple hearts. And the stuff he's pulled over the last few years in Congress makes me wanna puke. He cares NOTHING for the military or its veterans.

I agree that politically, both Kerry and McCain are definitely losers and frankly, shitty people. But to call him a loser specifically for being captured and becoming a PoW is simply a low blow and an insult to any PoW across the board.

He is good at using other people's money. . He isn't concerned about being polictally correct. . He is not your typical politician. . He doesn't need financial contributions to pay for his campaign. He doesn't shy away from reporters. . He tells it like it is weather it is good or bad. He has hit rock bottom and made a come back. . He knows what it takes to be successful. He doesn't sugar coat anything. For those reasons, he has my vote. Everyone is focusing on his negative qualities and failures. No one is looking at his success after this failures. Try looking at what he has accomplished, even when he was broke. He came back and he knows how to be successful.

I agree that I need to see something more from him before I could decide. I don't disagree with most of what he's saying but I also need to know he has some tact especially when dealing with foreign governments, and I am less than certain that he does.

I agree, but hopefully he will make people talk about those taboo topics and promise a solution.

SSG (Join to see) - I agree. I am not a fan personally, but it is good when someone stirs the pot.

He won't be the President, but he will have a huge impact on the election. Trump does more tearing down of other Republicans than the Democrats. Cpl Jeff N. explained pretty well why he won't win. However, he can alienate needed voters from minority communities. His first week on the trail, he alienated Hispanics. Put a spotlight on the flaws of his fellow republicans, and make the democratic option more attractive

Typo. It was a cheap shot implying that Trump presidency would have all us 99 percenters working in the fields for Trump and his 1% buddies.
It was a cheap shot. Sorry if no one found it even a little funny.

The division of the country into black/white, 99%/1%, or any other differentiation is merely an attempt to create a political advantage. We are victims only if we allow ourselves to be victims. Now, I don't know about you but I grew up in a city that was the beneficiary (meaning that I was also a beneficiary as was every other citizen of that city) of the success of the wealthy. One man in particular endowed the public library (which happens to have been my favorite haunt), a great hospital, a great school of the performing arts, and so much more. I'm speaking of Baltimore. Every other city in America has similar stories. Other successful men and women created great industries in which great numbers of Americans rose to form the first and greatest middle class in all the world in all of history. Only since the meddling of a government that created divisions and set them against each other has that success, all of our successes, faded. So when anyone echoes this nonsense about classes and other differences, they are aiding and abetting the enemies of America. Please stop it now and let us all succeed together...again

He has 4 bankruptcies under his belt. I hope people don't actually take him seriously. Give Jim Webb a look, instead of bankruptcies he has a silver star and two Purple Hearts.

Dedication to the country. They certainly mean that. Going bankrupt has never been thought of as a benchmark for success as far as I know, quite the opposite. He did that four times, too volatile to consider as a legitimate candidate, for me at least.

Ssg Ryan when a potus fails at specific ventures people die, the fact that he seems so loud and unthoughtful in his actions is a problem
