Our current dishonor and shame is even greater than the Nam fiasco and makes your statement more meaningful than ever. And again the dishonor lies squarely with the same same party.

I would tell myself to spend more time with my mother because she's gone now and I regret not being with her more. I miss her terribly. I would also tell myself not to go to an out of state college because it's not worth the amount of student loan debt.

I lost mine when she 52, while I was stuck working 112 hours a week because of an idiot manager.

I'm so sorry. That's very young. My mom was 75 and she had dementia and congestive heart failure. So very sad to watch the decline but she's definitely in a better place now. I just miss her.

Private Jackson, close mouth, open mind. Do what's right, not just expeditious. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it, and always give help when it's wanted. And keep your mouth shut. The Ds is NOT your best Buddy! And save up every penny! Fifty years from now a company called Amazon is going to give me $100.00 just for typing this. Buy all their stocks you can! If they are rich enough to do that in fifty years, think what they must be worth!
That's about all I have to say, except MARRY GEORGIA!
AND KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

"I wish I knew you when we were young." Nuh Huh! I am still young, according to my VA doctor. He says I'm healthier than most of his 30 & 40 year-olds. I keep telling him that it's all in the mind, and so he goes (Man, how I hated that expression!) "well then how do YOU do it, my mindless wonder? (He must think me and Stevie are related!)

Hey SGT David Jackson, never too late? Tell that to Cinderella. RE: Belize, went there in 1975 to develop a deep water port. Lost my ass there... corruption. Yeah, I had "the one" get away too. Think about her all the time. My mind still sees her as the 20 year old who flew from Ft. Lauderdale to Michigan when I got home. Long story, I screwed up.

Unfortunately for me, it was her family. Her Uncle was "The Right Honourable George Cadle Price", who had one too many enemies.

Cpl Cary Cartter - No, but I felt it pass through my hair as I went around a corner.

SP5 Robert Kennedy - I was at her house when her couisins came to visit. They wanted to play baseball. She was pitching. I warned her that when I hit the ball, it usually hit the pitcher. She didn't believe me. Two pitches, two strikes, and she was hit twice. I had hit it as easy as I could, so it didn't hurt her but that 4'10" ball of fire started chasing me, The bat slipped out of my hand and she had it before I could retrieve it.
