Be more authentic.

Filling out paperwork for induction I revealed my prior use of Cannabis.
An officer came by and asked, "Who wants to fly helicopters?" I did and started the FAST test to see if I qualified.
Halfway through the test, I was interrupted and the test was terminated. The officer asked me if I had used MJ, and then said, "We want our pilots to fly high, but not THAT high."

I would say to focus on family as much as I did my military service. Maybe I wouldn't have ended up divorced twice.

Stay In longer and take the offer for OCS

Go to college right out of High School and then join SOF!

Stay “shaped up”. Follow orders and keep your boots (and shoes) spit polished!

Don't accept recruiting assignment just to be close to your home. don't get married so fast

Depends on how far back I go. If I could go to two points, I think post military I would be happier. Rule #1, stay away from ice and snow! #2, if, by rule #1 must be broken, slow the f(bomb) down!!!
