Think about the things you want out of life and go make a plan to do them. Super easy to become complacent with what you have and not go after your dreams.

I was lucky. having been convent bred in high school, boot camp was a breeze for me. My only problem was the cold weather since I came from a warm state.

Open up a IRA and start saving cause time passes in a blink of an eye.

I would tell my younger self to checkout what the Army Reserves really had to offer 51 years ago. I have friends from the military that had dual careers in academics (as I did) and reserve (which I didn’t) and managed both very well.

Stay in school and get the nursing license. It opens many more opportunities.

I would advise myself to invest in IBM, Microsoft, Oil, buy gold and silver then get out of the stock market when I was worth several million.

Be quite, do your best. Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand something.
