Trip in the works for the next month that will include multiple long flights across many time zones. Any advice to keep me sane and not completely jet lagged!!?

1) Window seat, you can lean to the window to sleep. Much easier than aisle or center.
2) Sleep on the plane. Doesn't matter if it's a 2 hour or a 10 hour flight. Better to be "overslept" than in sleep debt because of jetlag.
3) Watch your nutrition and water intake. As others have mentioned, it's very easy to get dehydrated. When you travel you tend to eat out, and your calorie consumption goes WAYYYYYYY up, which exacerbates all of the above.

COL Lee Flemming - I used to travel a lot and you pick up things. Forgot to mention one thing. Don't be scared to skip meals. We don't actually have to eat "every day." We need to have good nutrition. Those two things don't have complete overlap. Just make sure you focus on eating "correctly" (fast food will jack you up).

Stay hydrated, airplane air will dry you out quick.
