I found this article this morning and figured I would share. LTG McMaster was my Squadron commander back when I was a PVT and the man is simply one of the best (if not the best) motivators I have ever met and had the pleasure of serving with.

LTG McMaster was the Colonel of the Regiment while is was with 3d ACR. He's a skilled tactician, a renowned scholar, and a formidable man all around. It is very reassuring to hear someone of his stature acknowledge that the stigma of receiving mental health services because of military stress is, unfortunately, alive and well. I second his opinion on devolving that stigma while promoting access to mental health services for service members. Good read! Thanks.

Great article. It seems like he actually has his head on straight and understands the needs of the military going forward. It's sad that even after the past 13 years of warfare the military still needs reminders about it's human element and the true nature of warfare. If we could get lobbyist out of DC the military would probably do much better
