Lost Mom 17 years back. And the Mother of my children is also known as my ex. Does this leave me off the hook?

SFC Everett Oliver A mother's day card would be a sign of respect for her mothering, (if you have any).otherwise, you could alert the children as a fatherly thing to do.

I'm sorry, I try to make light of certain subjects, I haven't seen my ex in 30 years and obviously the children have children of their own, And I haven't seen any of them in about 10 years. Respect has little to do with it, distance, such as across oceans does. Thought most people would pick up on the light handed statement....

It's "Mothers Day" not wifes day...aka anniversary, aka Valentines Day...aka Birthday....I get a card and flowers for my Mom, the kids are responsible for getting something for their mother. Geesh!!!

I never "waste" any time with my wife...Mother's day is a day for Children to honor Thier mothers not Husbands to honor wives....I do that every day.
