Integrity is valued as part of the military culture.
I'm surprised this isn't 10:1 Trump.

PFC Carl Dichter - Truly he had already donated $5.4m before being questioned and the rest was being aggregated and potential recipients screened to account for the final $600,000. You've quoted a totally made up negative event. Trump is not my first, nor second pick. However, in truth he's volunteered more support for veterans than any reporter seems willing to compile into a comprehensive report. The "Fix" is in from a mainstream media perspective. Hillary is NOT QUALIFIED to be Commander in Chief. She lied about being under Bosnian sniper attack, lied to the parents of the Benghazi dead, and lied about her sacrificing national security in order to protect herself from FOIA.

Maj Rob Drury - LTC Jesse Edwards - Holy hell! Did you happen to look further into the source of that statement linked above?
Here's the list of their board of Advisors:
General Wesley K. Clark (Ret.)
MG Paul D. Eaton (Ret.)
Will Fischer (V)
Jason Flom
William E. Little (V)
Connie Pillich (V)
Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson (Ret.)
Steven Wozencraft
To this, Maj Rob Drury, I'd say the source is considered and should be fairly well regarded.

Trump attracts a lot of different kinds of people. All of them have one thing in common: they like the leadership style of an authoritarian. Trump the demagogue is the epitome of authoritarianism.

LT Louis McKellar - Could be. But Trump alienates whole countries when he speaks. Now Trump is disavowing NATO. The last time the US said it might not honor a treaty, the communists saw that as clearance to take South Korea.

I believe Trump pragmatic enough to understand we need to review treaties. I think there's a general mood in the nation for us to stop being the world's policeman. We're now $19.4 TRILLION in debt, up from nearly $11 TRILLION in 2009.
The world remains a very dangerous place. I don't want four more years of the Obama doctrine. Perhaps we need some alienation right now. When last I looked, other nations don't get a vote in our elections. And if my memory serves me correctly, Obama was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing.
Don't misunderstand me, I think we need a strong military. I enlisted in 1973 and lived through the Carter administration. It was believed Reagan would start WWIII. He didn't, in fact, he won the cold war.
After eight years of Obama, we need that now.

LT Louis McKellar - I, too, enlisted in 1973. Good times. Airdale. I remember Japanese people walking up to me on the street of Yokohama to ask what was wrong with President Carter.
We still have 10 times the military of any potential enemy. The difference between now and years ago is that we no longer have dozens of body bags coming home each week, and our occupation of Iraq is not creating thousands of new enemies each month. As for Reagan, do some in-depth reading, now that the papers are declassified and the Soviet archives are open to us. RR very nearly caused nuclear war without even knowing it. It shocked him when he found out. See Able Archer 83 for a taste. Finally, Gorbachev was elected to power for the purpose of ending the Cold War. Gorbachev was already dismantling the Soviet system when RR got involved. Finally, the Norwegians bestowed the Peace Prize on BHO to encourage nuclear reduction. But I admit all that discussion is minor stuff. Once Trump signals that the USA might not fulfill its treaty obligations, then there is no more "full faith and credit" in the United States of America. That has repercussions even worse than Russia taking the Baltics, which might certainly happen on Trump's inauguration day.

Not sure of your comment regarding body bags. If you look at the link below, 75% of casualties happened under Obama and 87% of injuries happened under Obama - for two wars he claims to have ended. Yes, I understand, it's Bush's fault. After all, Obama just happened in the office and was never fully aware of all the circumstances. No one told him how serious the situation was.
As for the Peace prize, I don't believe it was awarded previously "to encourage an action", normally it's to reward an accomplishment.
Trump hasn't said he would not honor a commitment, he has indicated the US should stop bearing the full cost of it. I agree with that assessment.
The challenge in all of this is to review the treaties we have in place and to decide if they are still relevant in 2017. For instance, we have more flag officers on active duty in the Navy than ships. Perhaps we need to start downsizing some of the top?
The US will be in worse shape if Hillary Clinton is elected President than if Trump succeeds Obama.

3 Out of 4 U.S. Deaths in Afghanistan Occurred Under Obama
An estimated 75% of the all U.S. military deaths and about 90% of the injuries in Afghanistan have occurred under President Obama’s watch.

Need you even ask? Most careerists tend to roll a little to the right; in some cases way to the right. Nothing Hillary Clinton says, let alone the double-speak, bullshit, deception and outright untruths, resonates with the vast majority of those people, some of whom may have known her at the White House or Camp David when she was First Lady. Trump, rightly or wrongly, strikes most people, and it's meant to strike them this way, as a guy who gets things done. No nonsense, decisive, charismatic, somewhat bombastic, hard-boiled. In essence, the antithesis of everything Obama is and Hillary wants to be. While they may be concerned about Trump's somewhat erratic behavior and antagonism, they're willing to overlook it for somebody they can get behind, unlike current "leadership".

Look at the political and social history of America since about 1963. It hasn't made much difference if the civilian "leadership" has been mostly one party or the other, we've been gradually spiraling downward and the politicians aren't interested in improving things because, through these problems they are gaining power, influence, and MONEY! We the people have had enough! Mr Trump isn't out for personal gain. It will cost him a lot of money (ie: the pres. must relinquish control of private ventures while in office) to be president. He isn't in this to increase his influence in the world, he has business and political contacts no previous president has ever had.
What does he gain? A title, a security detail for life, and a retirement pension that's less than his monthly lease for his Manhattan apartment.

A lot of of that stuff is NOT marked, but those who work with the information knows when something is sensitive such as talking about operatives in the field. Common sense tells you that stuff like that is sensitive and should be treated as such. As far as I'm concerened, by doing what she did and leaving stuff vulnerable to whoever wanted it is nothing sor of Treason and she should be held accountable, irregardless of the AG and FBI Director.

The majority of the military is from rural america and conservative. If Trump wasn't so controversial it would be a lot more than 2:1, based purely on demographics.

Agreed. But the military has a higher diversity ratio in relation to the population. HRC's message is that DJT is a racist. Seems to not hold water with Mil.

SPC Kirk Gilles - I believe the vast majority of the military are pragmatic by nature and ultimately care more about effectiveness. So DJT is not ideal, but I believe he will get the job done in America's favor compared to his competition. My state of residence is Texas though, so how swing state voters feels is what matters under our current system.

Just as it doesn't hold water with anyone having a lick of sense, or who can hear or read comments in their proper context. All of the "controversy" surrounding Trump is choreographed liberal propaganda.

#1: Clinton is a TRAITOR!
#2: Clinton doesn't answer her phone at 3 AM!
#3: Clinton favors Obama's deliberate weakening of US! She favors our enemies and damages our allies! She has created disaster across the world -- everything she has touched is now on fire!
#4: Clinton, like the rest of the so-called liberals, hate the military and veterans ('the only good vet is a dead vet'). Do you really want this as CIC?
#5: Clinton is "a proud Progressive" which is to say that she is a proud communist!
#6: Clinton and all of the Demagogue Party establishment want all of US little people to be serfs on their plantation -- they are the ruling class living off of our labor! Feudalism reestablished, liberty and the Constitution extinguished!
#7: Clinton is a thief and totally corrupt! She has enriched herself at every turn at the expense of US! She and Bill have literally sold US out. She has repeatedly sold US foreign policy, secret information and critical strategic resources to our adversaries and the highest bidder for cash!
#8: Clinton is a compulsive LIAR! She looked the family members of the Benghazi dead in the eye and coldly lied to their faces, then she denied saying what they documented and reported, then she called them liars!
#9: Clinton deliberately hid her activities and correspondence while at the State Department (and throughout her career) in direct violation of federal law that was designed to create a correct record and to allow the People to have access to what their government and officials are doing. She wanted to avoid the legitimate and lawful scrutiny and oversight of Congress and the public!
#10: Clinton perjured herself in testimony the Congress!
#11: Clinton willfully, wantonly, and knowingly exposed classified information and the secrets of the US to persons and nations that had no right to see or handle them.
#12: Clinton, and the establishment of the Demagogue Party, has not only refused to honor her oath of office but has in fact conspired to destroy the Constitution and subjugate the country and People.
#13: Clinton has not one single accomplishment for the benefit of the People during her entire career!!!!
#14: Clinton should be tried for Treason, convicted, and executed!
I could go on, but these few examples should suffice!

Because, we don't like it when we lose stripes, are discharged or jailed for the same things she did. Read below and digest....especially the U.S Codes...what we abide by daily
FBI determined Clinton's private email server contained :
110 classified emails in 52 chains
8 top secret emails
36 "secret" emails
8 "confidential" emails
All were clearly designated as such at the time sent or received. Additionally, another 2,000 emails had been "up-classified" to confidential after being sent or received.
It also found several work-related emails Clinton's staff did not include with the 30,000 handed over to the State Department for release to FOIA requesters.
The McCarran Internal Security Act 793(e), States: "mere retention" of information a crime no matter what the intent, covering even former government officials writing their memoirs.
1.) 18 U.S. Code § 793 – Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information
2.) 18 U.S. Code § 798 – Disclosure of classified information
3.) U.S. Code § 1924 – Unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material
4.) 18 U.S. Code § 2071(b) — Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally
5.) 18 U.S. Code § 1505 – Obstruction of proceedings before departments, agencies, and committees

18 U.S. Code § 1346 — Definition of “scheme or artifice to defraud”
18 U.S. Code § 371 – Conspiracy to defraud the United States
If it can be proven that an accused arranged for the Department of State to hire an Information Technology (IT) specialist to primarily administer and maintain a private server system owned by the accused, then the accused can be convicted of conspiracy to commit honest services fraud and probably wire fraud.
8.) 18 U.S. Code § 371 – Conspiracy to commit a federal offense
If any accused and any third party can be proven to have colluded in any violation of federal, criminal law, then all involved can be charged with criminal conspiracy as well as being charged with the underlying offense.

The military likes people willing to take charge, and it doesn't like people who don't follow the rules. I'm surprised it's not 5:1, that said I don't believe it would be that one sided if there was some expectation that 3rd party candidates could win.
