I am sort of new to RP, and I have yet to see the value in this program. What exactly is the value of "influence points"?

SCPO (Join to see) Senior Chief I believe at all forums have some form of point system. It is a way to see who is active and like the toy forum I moderate it is a way to delete accounts that are inactive.
I could be wrong but that is my understanding. I mainly come on here to talk to fellow members of the military. Plus ask questions about my career.
