**So sick of these political rants**
"As long as our active military need tuition assistance"? I don't understand this...isn't tuition assistance (TA) a good thing?
Also, White House (two words) tours are available. These self-guided tours are generally available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Fridays, and 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturdays (excluding federal holidays).

Was there twice during those hours and no tours. Also the military should get free ride for education and not need to pay for anything.

Because of sequestration, the tours were cancelled for a few months...they're back on again.
The military doesn't get a 'free ride' for college? TA is currently at 100%.
SIDE NOTE: Why do you think the military should not pay for anything? This is not a welfare system. If a Soldier is more personally invested in their higher education, they'll be more apt to complete requirements on time and not drop so many classes (actual military deployments/operations aside).

I agree with it. I'm not agianst helping anyone but we spend so much money with people that are not American citizens that our own people suffer. I'm not trying to compare what goes on in the US to say Darfour but shouldn't we make sure our on country is squared away before we try and save the world and I include illegals in America as part of saving the world.
