Most memorable military "movie discrepancies"?

Ah yes, we've all seen them; "so, there you were" in a theater or a room full of service members or veterans, one minute everything's ok, then all of a sudden there it is... the over-the-top military movie discrepancy! So, what was that moment that stands out most in your mind? What are those associated memories or stories that come to mind? Did the base theater erupt into 'chaos' over an unkempt/incorrect uniform, improper language/jargon/ customs, or was there something that was just plain 'unsat' from a military point-of-view. lol Well, there's a ton of them out there, and I'm pretty sure that something should immediately come to mind, so what are we waiting for? I don't have time to read the discussions and this movie may have been mentioned. The movie is, "Basic," starring Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta. at the beginning of the movie Samuel
L. is wearing SPC rank and then is promoted to MSG.

Though not a military movie, I would have to say it is Child's Play (2 or 3). Since when we have killer dolls wiping out a platoon of kids in military school, as well as ranking officials like commandants?!?!?

How many people find it hard to watch military-based movies without commenting on everything wrong? Uniforms being the biggest offender; but also customs and courtesies, battle scenarios, et cetera? How do your families deal with any nitpicking?
